4 Star Reads that I Adore

Rating books is weird for me.

As a writer and bookworm, it's hard to separate my different perspectives when the enjoyment and the storytelling of a book don’t always match. I often talk about 5 star rated books on here but there are so many great books out there that I don’t rate quite as high!

5 star reads are my absolute favorites but there are many 4 star reads that I love and will read again and again. I usually rate a book 4 stars if I really enjoyed reading them but something fell short of the full five stars. Continue reading to see some of my favorite 4 star reads and why you should read them!!

Today's post contains affiliate links with my book recommendations so that you can find the right books for your personal library quickly. If you buy a book from one of my links, I will make a small commission that will help me continue to create bookish content for you! I chose Bookshop as an alternative to Amazon because they help support independent bookstores and creators.

  2. Very nice post! Rating books is difficult especially when everyone has a differing idea of what each Rating means. 3-5 stars for me is a good book to a fantastic book. I'm reading Shadow and Bone and so far I'm enjoying it.
