Welcome to my little corner of the world wide web. 
As you might have already guessed, I'm the Freckled Writer.  I am here to share my love of something so amazing that it tops my love of bubblegum, wildflowers, and 70's furniture ... 

BOOKS.

I love reading books and writing books
I love feeling books and smelling books.
I love buying books and talking about books. 
In fact if you get me talking about books, I may never shut up (hence the blog). 

And that is why this blog exists: To multiply the love and magic of the written word in your life so that you too can love books. Also so that I can talk about books as much as I want.

Please join me as I document my reading journey through amazing (and not-so-amazing) books. We will travel to faraway lands between worn pages, become best friends and fight side-by-side with fictional characters, and learn about the world around us through the lens of literature. 

I hope that my little blog gives you a tiny taste of the magic found in books. And I hope that wonder seeps from the pages you read into the pages of your life.
